Across reports, Nissan says the Rogue Hybrid is powered by a series-hybrid setup that pairs electric motors with a 225-horsepower output. Car and Driver and Jalopnik also cite expectations for fuel economy: Nissan projects up to 38 mpg combined, while Jalopnik reports figures that can reach around 40 mpg. Both outlets connect the system’s design—where electric motors drive the vehicle and the gasoline engine supports generation—to the vehicle’s immediate, responsive feel.
Pricing is also reported differently by outlet. Car and Driver says the Rogue Hybrid starts around $37,000, while Jalopnik’s focus is more on the driving experience and powertrain details than on the exact starting price. Both sources agree on the core debut: a fourth-generation Rogue equipped with Nissan’s e-Power hybrid system for U.S. buyers.
