Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, expels 42 students for examination malpractice following an internal investigation. The institution’s management approves the disciplinary action after findings by its Examination Malpractice Committee.
Officials say the expelled students are found guilty after due investigation and that the offences violate the Matriculation Oath sworn by students at admission. The polytechnic cites its Students’ Handbook in applying the penalty. All affected students are directed to return any Polytechnic property in their possession to their respective Heads of Department.
The reported disciplinary breakdown includes 31 HND students and 11 ND students.
