A 17-year-old girl alleges she is gang-raped by three men who pose as police officers near Kalkaji Mandir in south Delhi. The girl and her 17-year-old male friend visit the temple around 7 pm, after which the girl is allegedly taken to a nearby park.
According to reported accounts, the accused separate the girl from her friend and carry out the assault in Astha Kunj Park. One outlet reports the suspects threaten her with a firearm and a knife, while others focus on the posing as cops and the separation. Police receive a PCR call after the attack and reach the location, after which the girl is taken for a medical examination.
Authorities are now investigating the incident by collecting statements and reviewing CCTV footage to identify the men. One report says one accused, named as Asif, is apprehended following an exchange of fire, though the exact sequence and details beyond the complaint are still being established in the ongoing probe.
