Police in Abia State say they rescue a four-day-old baby allegedly stolen from her mentally unstable mother and arrest four suspects over alleged conspiracy and child trafficking.
According to the Abia State Police Command, officers of the Violent Crimes Response Unit and Rapid Response Unit apprehend the suspects, identified as Gladys Nathaniel, Victor Udochukwu, Chijioke Obunwa and Onyeonoro Chinwe, following investigations. Police say the suspects allegedly conspired to steal the infant and sell her to another person.
