Dinesh Thakkar, founder and managing director of Angel One, signs an agreement to buy an entire luxury residential tower in Mumbai’s Juhu for about ₹711 crore from Embassy Developments. The deal covers the whole “Embassy Terazza” tower rather than a single apartment, making it one of the largest single residential transactions reported in India by value and by the amount of space acquired.

The project is described as a ground-plus-seven-storey building on Juhu Tara Road, with a RERA carpet area of about 63,000 sq ft and roughly 50 residences across the development’s five towers. Sources put the per-square-foot value at around ₹1.13 lakh in the Economic Times report, while the Free Press Journal provides a broader market-rate range for Juhu depending on location and sea view. Both note the development spans more than two acres and has an estimated gross development value above ₹3,000 crore, to be executed under a development management model.

Both outlets say the purchase underscores demand for ultra-luxury, large-format homes in established Mumbai neighbourhoods such as Juhu. The Free Press Journal additionally reports Thakkar names the residence “Angelus” and includes quotes from Embassy’s chairman and Thakkar, while the Economic Times focuses more on pricing records and the scale of the transaction.
