vivo is reported to be planning a next-year launch for the X500 Ultra in China. Following the company’s unveiling of the X500, X500 Pro, and X500 Pro Max in China, a vivo executive tells another outlet that the Ultra model will be announced in 2027.
Multiple sources frame the timing around a media interview after the X500 series launch event. GSMArena reports that Huang Tao, Vice President of Product at vivo, confirms the X500 Ultra will debut in China sometime in March or April 2027. It also notes that the company’s previous Ultra model (the vivo X300 Ultra) was introduced in late March, suggesting a similar rollout window.
