CME Group is expanding its crypto derivatives offerings by adding futures for Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Uniswap (UNI). The exchange will list both standard and “Micro” contracts, with contract sizes reported as 250 BCH and 25 BCH for Bitcoin Cash, and 10,000 UNI and 1,000 UNI for Uniswap.
The move fits a broader pattern of CME rolling out altcoin-linked futures. According to reports, CME’s lineup already includes futures for several other cryptocurrencies, including Cardano, Chainlink, Stellar, Avalanche, and Sui. Different outlets characterize the additions as part of growing demand for regulated crypto futures products, though they align on the core details: the specific assets, contract categories, and the inclusion of both standard and micro contract sizes for each.
Overall, the expansion increases the range of tradable crypto derivatives available through CME, while extending its approach to offering smaller contract sizes alongside standard contracts for each newly listed asset.
