A blaze in Surat’s textile area that officials later estimated at about Rs 24 crore in damage is linked to an alleged act of revenge, police say. NDTV reports that a man, identified as Vinod Pandit Savle, set fire to his ex-employer’s shop, and investigators say the fire spread beyond the original premises.
