Lufthansa faces criticism after a passenger publicly raises a dispute over a long-pending payment the customer says was approved months earlier. The passenger posts the issue on X, tags Lufthansa, and asks for email follow-up and immediate action on a case identified as C-999983-G1X8.

In response, Lufthansa says it has already replied to the customer multiple times via direct messages on different social media platforms. The airline also tells the passenger that its answer will not “magically change” just because the question is repeated on X. The remark prompts further negative reaction online, with the passenger arguing they are not seeking a “magic response” but rather processing of the payment.

Lufthansa later apologises for its earlier reply, saying it is not the way it treats passengers. The airline acknowledges the customer’s frustration and says it is doing everything it can to speed up the process, adding that it will get back to the passenger “as soon as possible.”
