The National Testing Agency (NTA) opens a dedicated facility on the NEET-UG 2026 registration portal for candidates seeking refund of examination fees after the NEET-UG 2026 exam is cancelled earlier in May. In a public notice, the agency says candidates can log in using their existing credentials and access the refund link on the NEET-UG 2026 registration portal to submit their preferred bank account details for refund processing.
The portal window is available from 22 May 2026 to 27 May 2026, with the deadline set for 11:50 pm on 27 May. Candidates are asked to enter bank information required for the transfer, including details such as the IFSC code and account number. According to reporting, information submitted through the refund link is treated as final, and candidates are expected not to change details after submission.
NTA says the move follows an earlier public notice dated 12 May 2026 regarding refunds and provides a specific mechanism for candidates to provide the bank details needed to process their fee refunds.
