According to the reported figures, the BJP’s overall expenditure across the five state polls is ₹529.38 crore, with West Bengal receiving the largest share. In West Bengal, the BJP reportedly spends ₹217.16 crore on “general campaigning” and ₹69.83 crore on expenses related to candidates. One outlet also highlights that the BJP’s Bengal spend alone exceeds Congress’ reported total of ₹249 crore across the five states.
