Pokémon TCG Pocket is set to release its next expansion, “Deluxe Pack: Mega,” which includes four-card packs where players are guaranteed a rare card in every pack, including an ex rare card. The set is described as the latest follow-up to the earlier “Deluxe” release.
According to reports, “Deluxe Pack: Mega” launches on September 30, with a note that availability may be September 29 in some time zones. The packs draw from a range of prior card sources, spanning cards from earlier expansions including “Mega Rising” through “Ruler of the Skies.”
Outlets characterize the main draw similarly: the guaranteed rare element is positioned as an assurance for players opening packs, rather than a change to overall pack size or format. Both sources also frame the announcement as part of the game’s regular expansion rollout schedule.
