The Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) arrests seven people after busting an alleged racket that manipulates Staff Selection Commission (SSC) online recruitment examinations in Greater Noida, according to multiple reports. The operation comes after STF action on Friday, with the arrests reported on Saturday. The accused are alleged to have used proxy servers and dummy candidates to interfere with SSC exams conducted at an online examination centre operating under the name “Balaji Digital Zone” in the Knowledge Park area.
Authorities say the scheme targeted SSC recruitment for constables in the CAPF and SSF, as well as riflemen recruitment for the Assam Rifles. Reports also state that investigators recovered cash and electronic items from the centre, including Rs 50 lakh in cash, mobile phones, laptops, and networking equipment, along with documents such as candidate lists and admit cards.
The seven arrested are named by reporting outlets as Pradeep Chauhan, Arun Kumar, Sandeep Bhati, Nishant Raghav, Amit Rana, Shakir Malik, and Vivek Kumar, all from different districts in Uttar Pradesh.
