Welspun Corporation says its US unit, Welspun Tubular LLC, receives a large pipe supply order worth ₹4,000 crore for High-Frequency Induction Welded (HFIW) pipes. The company describes it as its largest order in history by volume, length and value.
The HFIW pipes are to be manufactured at its upgraded HFIW mill in Little Rock, Arkansas, according to the company. Execution is expected across FY28 and FY29. After the order, Welspun’s global order book rises to a record level of about ₹45,000 crore (reported as $4.7 billion, depending on the outlet’s currency framing).
