A White House broadcast network TV pool resumes operations after a judge partially blocks President Donald Trump’s ban on several news outlets from White House grounds. Coverage had been suspended, limiting access to the location and footage normally provided through the pool.
The suspension follows the White House’s decision to bar CNN, MS NOW, and Politico, among others. Outlets said the action affected their ability to report from the grounds and to receive standard pool materials. A judge’s order restores access for CNN and, according to reports, additional outlets as well, allowing the pool to function again.
Different outlets emphasize different aspects of the dispute: some focus on CNN regaining access after the judge’s ruling, while others describe the broader restoration of pool operations after the dayslong restrictions on multiple outlets. In all accounts, the pool’s return is linked directly to the court order that temporarily prevents enforcement of the ban.
