Uzbekistan’s Nodirbek Shavkatov, who won bronze in mixed martial arts at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games in Japan, is reported to have failed an anti-doping test. Testers say he is the first medalist at the 2026 Games to test positive.
According to the reports, Shavkatov is provisionally suspended after testing positive for meldonium, a banned substance under anti-doping rules.
