IndusInd Bank announces the launch of a dedicated banking vertical focused on India’s Global Capability Centres (GCCs). The bank says the initiative consolidates corporate and employee banking services under a single relationship model and is designed to better match the evolving needs of GCC operations.
The bank links the move to the scale of India’s GCC ecosystem, which it says has grown 32% since FY2021 to include 2,117 GCCs. IndusInd Bank also describes its offering as built around multiple core capabilities, including digital banking, employee banking, commercial cards, capital account and FEMA-related solutions, and foreign-currency account services through its International Banking Unit at GIFT City. One outlet highlights the backdrop of GCC growth as the main rationale, while the other adds more detail on the structure and guiding principles of the proposition, including a unified approach for corporate and employee needs and a digital-first model.
While both sources agree on the launch and the GCC growth figures, they differ in emphasis: one focuses more on the overall ecosystem growth context, and the other provides additional specifics on product areas and operational delivery for GCCs.
