Maharashtra CET Cell releases first round AYUSH seat allotments for 2026–27

Mumbai: The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has allotted BPharm and PharmD seats to 28,139 candidates in the first round of admissions for 2026–27. The allotments were made against 46,984 seats across 528 pharmacy colleges in the state.14,736 Get First-Choice CollegesOf the candidates allotted seats, 14,736 received their first-choice college. Their allotments have been automatically frozen, and they must take admission at the allotted college, the CET Cell said. Candidates who decline an automatically frozen seat will be unable to participate in the second, third or fourth rounds and can seek admission only in the later institutional round.Maharashtra AYUSH Admissions 2026: CET Cell Allots 10,519 Seats In BAMS, BHMS And BUMS First RoundThe CET Cell received 44,329 registrations for the two courses. Of these, 35,988 candidates submitted college preferences within the deadline and were considered for the first allotment list.Allotted candidates must report to their colleges between September 28 and 30, submit the required documents and pay the fees to confirm admission. Of the 11,272 seats available across 166 colleges, 753 remain unallotted and will be available in the second round.BAMS Gets Highest AllotmentsBAMS accounted for the largest number of allotments, with 7,546 candidates offered seats across 113 colleges. For BUMS, 246 of the 250 available seats were allotted across five colleges, leaving four vacancies.Candidates who received an allotment must report to their college with their original documents and a demand draft for the required fees between September 28 and 5.30 pm on October 1 to confirm admission, the CET Cell said. If a bank holiday prevents payment by demand draft, a cheque may be submitted, but it must be replaced with a demand draft on the next working day.
