The remarks are made during an assembly presentation about a week earlier, where Chong reportedly discusses topics including women and marriage. Students and alumni then launch an online petition calling for a public apology and, in some cases, his suspension from college duties. One outlet reports the petition attracts nearly 100 signatures, while another says it has more than 80 signatories as of Monday night.
