He condemns the killings and says no one has been convicted or brought to justice for the crimes. One report adds figures on the scale of deaths involving Nigerians: three killed in September, 12 murdered in South Africa in the current year alone, and 112 deaths since 2022, including 32 killed by members of the South African security forces. Both sources frame his message as a direct appeal to the South African government to investigate and prosecute those responsible.
