Giants fans’ preferences for today’s MLB action center on the outcomes of the Wild Card series games on the calendar. Several Yahoo Sports MLB pieces focus on “who Giants fans are rooting for today,” tying the question to the schedule of Wild Card matchups.
The coverage indicates that multiple Wild Card series are underway across both leagues, with games structured by series and game numbers. One item notes that all Wild Card series continue on a particular day, with Game 3 appearing in matchups that did not finish the prior day. Another Yahoo Sports MLB preview frames the day as one in which all four NL/AL Wild Card series begin, emphasizing the start of the postseason stretch.
Across the outlets provided here, the angle is consistent: the reporting is less about specific game results or storylines and more about identifying how Giants fans are likely to direct their support based on which Wild Card games are being played that day. The common thread is the focus on the Wild Card schedule and game timing rather than a single matchup.
