Producers of the devotional film franchise address renewed casting speculation about Akshay Kumar and the upcoming sequel “Hanuman Ansh 2.” Co-producer Anupriya Nagar says there is no confirmation that Akshay is part of the second instalment and that recent reports claiming otherwise are false.
The confusion follows an earlier exchange in which Nagar described Akshay as her “favourite actor” and, when asked about whether he would appear in “Part 2,” responded in a way that did not provide a direct yes or no. That ambiguous reply is what outlets and social media users point to as the trigger for rumours. Nagar later clarifies to media that she has not made any announcement about Akshay’s casting for Part 2.
Separately, the film’s performance is cited across reports. “Hanuman Ansh” is described as commercially strong, with figures varying by outlet but generally indicating a major worldwide gross and continued interest after release. One source also notes the director has spoken about “Hanuman Ansh 2” being in development as part of a broader multi-part plan.
