Eicher Motors reports stronger-than-expected Q4FY26 results, driving a rise in its share price on Monday. The company posts consolidated net profit of Rs 1,520 crore for the March quarter, up 12% year-on-year from Rs 1,362 crore a year earlier. Revenue from operations increases 16% year-on-year to Rs 6,080 crore, while EBITDA grows 20% to Rs 1,514 crore. Royal Enfield delivers its highest-ever fourth-quarter sales, with motorcycle volumes up 12% to 313,811 units. VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) also contributes, with sales of 33,976 vehicles versus 28,675 a year earlier.

Several brokerages respond positively but with different outlooks. Goldman Sachs keeps a “Buy” rating and raises its target price to Rs 8,400, citing resilience in gross margins despite commodity cost pressure. Morgan Stanley maintains “Equal-weight,” noting that Q4 revenue, EBITDA and profit after tax all grow 16%, 20% and 12% respectively, and that inventory remains lean. Other brokerages also highlight margin impacts from commodity inflation and expectations for capacity expansion to 1.6 million units, while expressing cautious views on exports and demand amid global uncertainty.
