An inscribed first edition of the book *The Bench* that is allegedly signed by Meghan Markle is listed for sale on eBay, with some postings describing a message written to Princess Eugenie. One listing places the price at nearly £20,000, while other reports cite prices around $26,000–$38,000.
Several outlets say the item was advertised online but then disappeared from eBay after being posted. Coverage focuses on the apparent personal inscription inside the book and the uncertainty around its provenance, with outlets treating the signature and message as claims made by the seller rather than independently verified facts.
Differences in reporting mainly involve the quoted currency and specific amounts mentioned by each outlet, and whether the listing is described as having vanished shortly after going live. Across sources, the common point is that an expensive eBay listing for the inscribed copy drew attention before it was no longer visible on the platform.
