The University of Guyana (UG) will confer degrees, diplomas and certificates on more than 3,700 graduands at its 60th Annual Graduation Ceremonies scheduled for November. The outlets report that the cohort is among the largest in the university’s history.
The ceremonies are planned for UG’s Turkeyen Campus. Both sources say the main graduation period will run on November 17 and 18. INews Guyana adds that additional graduation activities are set to take place afterward in Berbice, indicating a multi-location schedule. The Guyana Chronicle frames the event as a major milestone for the institution as it prepares to mark the 60th convocation with a large graduating class.
Overall, the reporting aligns on the number of graduands, the type of awards to be issued, the November timing, and the Turkeyen Campus dates, with only limited details beyond that shared core information.
