Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) is expanding ground connectivity and new flight operations. FLY91 begins flights from NMIA, launching direct routes to Sindhudurg, Jalgaon, Goa and Agatti as part of its winter schedule.
Alongside the airline launch, NMIA announces a broader multimodal transport plan for passengers traveling across Navi Mumbai, Mumbai and the wider region. From October 7, the Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) starts e-Shivai electric bus services linking NMIA with destinations including Dadar and Borivali, with a route to Pune also announced. The Dadar-bound service runs via Sion and Atal Setu, while the Borivali service connects CSMIA Terminal 1, Bandra and Atal Setu. Fares are reported as Rs 170 to Dadar East, Rs 210 to Borivali and Rs 450 to Pune, with half-fare for eligible groups using a National Common Mobility Card.
NMIA also adds other options including Chalo Bus services, Navi Mumbai Municipal Transport routes, app-based taxis and car rentals, and prepaid taxis and autorickshaws. A complimentary hourly inter-airport shuttle operates between NMIA and Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, and Bharat Taxi is scheduled to start from October 10. Outlets also note capacity scaling for taxis, autos and buses and that the winter timetable runs from October 25, 2026, to March 27, 2027.
