Apple is rolling out third developer beta versions of several operating systems, including iPadOS 27.2, watchOS 27.2, tvOS 27.2, visionOS 27.2, and macOS 27.2. Developers can download the new builds for testing via the Settings app on supported devices.
MacRumors and AppleInsider report that these releases come about two weeks after the second beta round, continuing Apple’s testing cycle for the 27.2 “first post-milestone” updates. MacRumors also notes that iOS 27.2 and watchOS 27.2 are part of Apple’s work on a redesigned Health app, adding new Insights and Longevity tabs and a readiness score that draws from data associated with newer Apple Watch models.
AppleInsider adds that Apple skips a planned iOS 27.1 update for some non-foldable iPhone models, while still moving forward with the 27.2 testing track across multiple platforms. Reports on visionOS 27.2 and tvOS 27.2 do not specify particular new features, though expectations include future Apple TV hardware support for Siri-related capabilities.
