Apple Music appears to be getting a redesigned logo as Apple rolls it out through upcoming software updates. Multiple outlets report seeing the change in beta software builds, including iOS 27.2 beta 3 and macOS 27.2 beta 3. The update shows up in system-related areas where the Apple Music branding is displayed.

The reported design changes focus on typography and styling. AppleInsider and 9to5Mac describe the updated mark as more modernized and “chunkier,” including a lowercased “Music” wordmark and a thicker font weight. MacRumors adds that the logo matches the one Apple used in materials tied to an Apple Music Hall announcement earlier in the month, suggesting it is the service’s official new logo rather than a one-off graphic.

While some sources note the new logo is starting to appear in beta builds, they also say the public web experience may still show the older branding. MacRumors, in particular, reports that Apple’s Apple Music website and web player continue to display the previous logo, implying further updates will follow as releases progress.
