South Korea’s homegrown Nuri rocket is transported to and positioned at the Naro Space Center in preparation for its fifth launch. Yonhap reports that the rocket begins its journey to the launchpad on the eve of the scheduled launch, while a subsequent Yonhap update says it is erected on the launchpad.
Korea Times provides additional timing and process details. The Korea AeroSpace Administration (KASA) says the launch team starts moving the rocket at 6 a.m. from the assembly complex to the site in Goheung, about 330 kilometers south of Seoul. The transfer is expected to take about 90 minutes, after which the rocket is erected vertically and connected to umbilical systems supplying power and other required links. The launch team then conducts checks ahead of fueling with fuel and oxidizer, with launchpad preparations expected to be completed by the end of the day. KASA convenes a launch management committee on Wednesday to decide the final launch time after reviewing technical readiness, weather, and collision-risk considerations.
