Renee Xie becomes the first woman to win a Grosvenor UK Poker Tour Main Event, according to both BBC News and Yahoo Sports.

Both outlets describe the win as a historic milestone for the tournament on its UK tour. The coverage focuses on the significance of her achievement rather than on detailed specifics of the final hand, field size, or prize breakdown.

While the framing is broadly the same across sources—highlighting her status as the first female winner on the tour—neither article adds additional competing details or alternative interpretations. Overall, they agree on the core fact: Xie wins the Main Event and sets a first for women on the event’s UK tour.
