Deerhunter frontman Bradford Cox and bandmate Lockett Pundt are set to perform together at Big Ears Festival 2027 in Knoxville, the latest additions to the event’s lineup. Both outlets report the pair will appear as part of a broader roster that includes other established artists.
Big Ears 2027’s announced lineup also features The Roots and Shabaka, with other acts listed in outlet coverage. One outlet places the booking in the context of Cox’s recent return to performing, noting his staged comeback earlier this year and describing recent sets that include material under his Atlas Sound moniker. Another outlet focuses primarily on the lineup announcement and does not frame the news around Cox’s recent activity. Across both, the shared point is the confirmed collaboration at the festival.
