Vijay Sethupathi’s film ‘Baththa’ continues to perform steadily at the Indian box office, with multiple outlets reporting day-by-day gains in recent releases. On Day 7, it earned about Rs 1.29 crore net, raising its total India net to Rs 14.04 crore. On Day 8, it made around Rs 1.34 crore net and reached Rs 15.42 crore net overall, with gross collections also rising to about Rs 17.85 crore, according to NDTV.
Times of India reports a further uptick on the second Friday (Day 9), where ‘Baththa’ collects about Rs 1.60 crore net and reaches roughly Rs 17.06 crore net total. In comparison, Times of India states that Karthik Subbaraj’s ‘Dorothy’ earns about Rs 50 lakh net on its 15th day, with a total around Rs 11.94 crore net. Outlets also frame both films as retaining audience interest, with ‘Baththa’ showing incremental growth while ‘Dorothy’ remains slower after an earlier decline.
