UFC Fight Night at UFC Apex in Las Vegas features Brendan Allen vs. Christian Leroy Duncan as the main event, with both fighters participating in ceremonial and early weigh-ins ahead of Saturday night’s card. Multiple outlets release faceoff and weigh-in videos showing the full slate coming together for UFC Vegas 122.
The bout matches Allen, ranked as a top middleweight contender, against Duncan, ranked just below him among middleweights. Preview coverage frames the fight as a high-stakes test for Duncan as he makes his first UFC main event appearance, while Allen aims to defend his standing. NDTV reports Duncan comments on a late venue change from Salt Lake City’s Delta Center to the smaller Apex, saying the shift will not affect his performance. Other previews focus on matchup dynamics, including Allen’s experience versus Duncan’s rise, and include odds, predictions, and expert picks.
