Singer Dua Lipa and her husband, actor Callum Turner, attend Game 3 of the ALDS between the New York Yankees and the Tampa Bay Rays at Yankee Stadium, where the Yankees lose and are eliminated. Multiple outlets report that Dua Lipa interacts with Laurence Leavy, the Florida lawyer known as the Yankees’ “Marlins Man” after a viral reputation for appearing at games.
Accounts converge on that Marlins Man is seated near Dua Lipa behind home plate and that television cameras capture her chatting with him. One outlet and related coverage add that it was Dua Lipa’s first baseball game, and that she eats her first hot dog during the outing. Another outlet focuses more on the odd, attention-grabbing nature of the exchange, while also noting that Leavy later comments publicly on the encounter, including a verdict on the interaction.
