Craig Lowndes reflects on Australian motorsport legend Peter Brock’s legacy, marking 20 years since Brock’s death. Multiple outlets report that Lowndes looks back on what made Brock stand out, describing him as “bigger than the sport.” The remembrance comes as Lowndes prepares for another Bathurst 1000 attempt.
Sources agree that Brock continues to influence how Lowndes approaches Bathurst each year. While outlets differ slightly in emphasis—some focus on Brock’s broader impact and personal inspiration, others tie the reflections to the timing of the 33rd Bathurst 1000—each account presents Lowndes as drawing motivation from his memories of Brock in the lead-up to racing at Mount Panorama.
