Crunchyroll launches its manga reading service in India, offering more than 250 titles at launch. The service is positioned as a single destination where users can read manga and also access anime streaming based on those series.
Outlets report that Crunchyroll Manga is bundled under a new subscription tier called “Ultimate Fan.” NDTV and Business Line say the plan provides ad-free manga access and also includes Crunchyroll’s anime streaming service, with support across iOS, Android, and web. NDTV adds pricing details, citing Rs 299 per month or Rs 999 annually. Business Line further says the membership allows streaming on up to six devices simultaneously, while The Hindu emphasizes seamless discovery and access to leading publishers’ manga.
