YouTuber Jon Prosser is pushing back in his dispute with Apple over alleged trade secret theft related to iOS 26. In a joint court update, Prosser argues that because iOS 26 is already released publicly, any information he shared cannot still be considered a trade secret. The case stems from Apple’s July 2025 lawsuit, which alleges Prosser and colleague Michael Ramacciotti coordinated to obtain unreleased software information and profit from it.

The outlets also describe an ongoing discovery fight. Apple says it is still waiting for documents and data it requested, including YouTube revenue reports, channel analytics, and third-party communications, after similar requests made months earlier. Prosser’s lawyer says he has already provided agreed discovery and that Apple keeps seeking additional materials. Apple disputes Prosser’s characterization, and it points to deposition testimony and Signal messages as evidence of coordination. Ramacciotti, meanwhile, asks to keep his defense distinct from Prosser’s and requests a conference where Apple would explain what further evidence it needs and what deadlines would follow.
