Taylor Swift is scheduled to perform at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures’ sixth annual Academy Museum Gala on October 17, 2026, in Los Angeles. Multiple outlets report that she will close out the event.
The gala is a major fundraising event for the museum. It honors Charlize Theron, Colman Domingo, and John Carpenter, with Carpenter also recognized as a filmmaker-composer. While specific performance details are not fully disclosed, coverage notes that the appearance comes as Swift runs her Oscar campaign for “I Knew It, I Knew You.” Outlets also describe the event as a prominent Hollywood social occasion, with additional programming and logistics expected to be revealed later.
