A lightsaber used by Darth Vader in the iconic “I am your father” duel with Luke Skywalker is being offered for sale at Heritage Auctions next month. The prop, also used in *Return of the Jedi*, is expected to sell for at least $1 million, according to one outlet covering the sale.
The auction features more than two dozen Star Wars lightsaber props spanning films from Episodes I through IX, along with items from other parts of the franchise. Another outlet reports that additional Star Wars memorabilia, including a Yoda puppet hand used by Frank Oz in Yoda’s original appearance in *The Empire Strikes Back*, is also part of the lineup. Across the coverage, the focus remains on the provenance and expected value of the featured props, with outlets highlighting different standout items within the broader auction catalogue.
