Comedian Katherine Ryan makes another public reference to David Beckham, following an earlier apology she issued to Victoria Beckham over an offensive joke. The comments are reported as a “swipe” at Beckham, coming shortly after Ryan faced backlash and a BBC complaints decision related to her prior remarks.
According to the outlets, Ryan had apologised to Victoria Beckham about a “stupid joke” after BBC processes upheld complaints that her language was inappropriate. The new coverage frames her latest remarks as continuing the exchange rather than concluding it, with outlets differing mainly in how they describe the sharpness of the new comment. Overall, all reports link the most recent joke to the same recent controversy and apology, portraying the sequence as part of a rapidly developing public back-and-forth.
