Machong Chismisan, a comedy podcast, faces backlash after some of its hosts mocked Joshua “Josh” Aquino, the eldest son of Kris Aquino, who is publicly known to be on the autism spectrum. The remarks included calling Josh “walang kwenta” in an episode that was later removed from the podcast’s page, though clips circulated on social media.

Several public figures and groups criticize the comments. Boy Abunda urged Kris Aquino to consider legal action over the “walang kwenta” remark, while Mark Leviste said he reacted with anger after learning of the mocking. Michael Leyva, described as a close family friend of the Aquinos, also condemned the hosts. The Autism Society Philippines denounced the episode, saying the exchange was not funny.

In a related development, the podcast’s host Tito P issued an apology for “disparaging” remarks. According to reports, the controversy also leads to consequences for the show’s business arrangements, with the group’s contract terminated by The Pod Network, the podcast network and production platform.
