Big Thief has launched a free “Live Archive” featuring 10 fully mixed concert recordings. The project is presented as a regularly updated repository for fans who want access to complete live shows.
Multiple outlets report that the archive is pre-loaded with those 10 sets at launch and that the band plans to add additional shows each month. Coverage also characterizes the initiative as drawing inspiration from the kind of concert archival approach associated with the Grateful Dead’s live releases, though the core details across reports remain focused on the number of concerts available initially and the schedule for future additions.
