Former police officer Rosemary Ndlovu and her co-accused, Nomsa Mudau, are sentenced to 10 years in direct imprisonment for incitement related to an attempted murder plot in 2018.

According to reports, the plot targeted Mudau’s then-husband, Justice Mudau. Outlets describe the case as an attempt to have him killed, with one account adding that the plan was linked to an insurance motive. The sentencing follows the conclusion that Ndlovu and Mudau played roles in inciting the attempted killing, after the attempt failed.

While the outlets use slightly different wording—some focusing on “incitement to murder” and others on a “failed murder plot”—they all report the same sentence length and the central allegation: the 2018 plan to kill Justice Mudau.
