Heritage Foods reports Q2 FY27 revenue up but profit down, with consolidated profit after tax (PAT) slipping 39% year-on-year to about ₹31 crore (₹30.9 crore). The company’s Q2 consolidated revenue rises to ₹1,319.6 crore, while EBITDA margin improves to 5.6%.
Across the outlets, procurement and pricing trends explain the earnings picture. Milk procurement volumes increase 7% year-on-year to 17.28 LLPD in Q2 FY27, and H1 volumes also rise, though supply conditions remain constrained by monsoon-related impacts mentioned by The Hindu. The average landed cost of milk procurement increases 11% year-on-year to ₹47.73 per litre, attributed to sustained demand, limited improvement in arrivals, and higher feed and fodder costs. Milk sales volumes grow 2.5% year-on-year to 12.35 LLPD, with average selling price improving 6% to ₹60.34 per litre.
Outlets also highlight stronger performance in value-added products (VAP), with revenue up 19% for the quarter and VAP revenue (excluding ghee and butter) rising 32% year-on-year, supporting margin recovery despite higher procurement costs.
