Comedian James Acaster says the broadcast version of Celebrity Traitors leaves out a key moment explaining why Julie Hesmondhalgh is banished from the show’s castle. Acaster claims producers edited out a scene, and he links the missing footage to the real reason she has to leave.
The outlets report Acaster’s account of events rather than presenting the full details of what was removed. The core claim across coverage is that a specific explanation for Julie’s banishment appears in footage viewers never see, because the scene does not make it to the final cut.
