Remedy Entertainment says its game Control Resonant has sold one million copies, reaching the milestone in about three weeks after release. The company reports the title is now the fastest-selling game in its 31-year history, surpassing earlier best performers such as Alan Wake 2 and the original Control.

Outlets note that Remedy made the announcement roughly three weeks after the game’s launch, with coverage focusing on the speed of the sales rather than only the total. The game releases are also consistent across reporting: Control Resonant is available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X.

While some outlets characterize the figure as modest in the wider games market, the core points remain the same—1 million sold, rapid achievement following launch, and a new high-water mark for Remedy’s own sales performance.
