RapidCanvas, an Austin-based software startup focused on enterprise artificial intelligence, announces a $29 million Series B funding round. The company says the investment will help it expand its ability to build and deploy custom AI applications for business customers. SiliconANGLE and The Next Web also note that the round follows an earlier $16 million investment in 2024.
The Series B is led by Vertex Ventures SEA & India, with participation from Hitachi Ventures and other investors including Accel, Peak XV Partners, Valley Capital Partners, and Titanium Ventures, according to the outlets. The Next Web adds that RapidCanvas pairs an AI agent platform with its own engineering team to produce business apps, and that it plans to hire in the United States, Brazil, and India. Inc42 emphasizes go-to-market expansion, stating the round totals about ₹280 crore and that total funding has reached $52.5 million when combined with prior investment.
