Bajaj Finance reports that its Q2 FY27 consolidated net profit rises 29% year-on-year to ₹6,367 crore, alongside higher revenues. Free Press Journal and Business Line both attribute the jump primarily to stronger performance during the quarter, while NDTV highlights growth in assets under management (AUM), which rise to Rs 5.85 lakh crore.
Across sources, Bajaj Finance’s standalone performance for the quarter ended September 30, 2026 shows net profit up 30.2% to Rs 5,536.10 crore and revenue from operations up about 22.9% to Rs 20,890.66 crore. Free Press Journal also reports total income up to Rs 20,919.40 crore, with finance costs and impairment increasing, even as profit before tax grows about 30%. NDTV likewise links results to loan growth reflected in AUM.
Free Press Journal adds that the board approved capital-raising proposals including a qualified institutions placement of up to Rs 11,700 crore and preferential warrants of up to Rs 5,800 crore, subject to approvals, and that auditors issued an unmodified limited review conclusion for the standalone results.
