Nottingham Forest are assessing midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White’s fitness ahead of their Premier League visit to Arsenal. Multiple reports say he sustained a minor muscle injury in last weekend’s 3-1 defeat at Crystal Palace and is not available at full training capacity.
The Independent and The Athletic report that Gibbs-White has missed training during the week and has not trained all week, while Metro adds that manager Oliver Glasner says Gibbs-White is doubtful. Glasner indicates the midfielder has not trained with the squad for the week, took part in an individual session with rehab staff, and is being monitored over subsequent sessions before a final decision.
Outlets also note that Forest face additional selection issues. Metro reports that Nicolo Savona and Igor Jesus will miss the game, while Nikola Milenkovic is returning to training after missing recent matches and may be available for the matchday squad depending on how he reacts.
