Paramount+ announces that the adult animated sitcom “Lil Kev” will return for Season 2 on Wednesday, December 9. Both outlets report that all 10 episodes will be released at once on the premiere date exclusively on Paramount+.
Season 2 arrives roughly a year after the show’s first season debuted in 2025. “Lil Kev” is set in 1993 North Philadelphia and follows 12-year-old Kev as he pursues his ambition, drawing on Kevin Hart’s life in the 1990s. Deadline and ComingSoon.net also note the show’s creative team and that it is presented as an adult animated comedy, with the series’ premise centered on Kevin Hart’s childhood experience. The reports frame the announcement primarily as a release-date update and streaming rollout detail for the upcoming season.
